Stainless Steel Line Swivel (for Scuba Reel & SMB)

The Scuba Line Swivel is a compact rotating connector designed for use between a scuba reel or spool and a DSMB.

Its swivelling centre allows the two attachment points to rotate independently, helping reduce twisting being transferred from the SMB into the reel, spool or line.

Reduce Reel and Line Twist

An SMB can rotate as a result of current, waves and surface movement. With a fixed connection, this rotation may be transferred directly into the reel or spool, causing the line and connected equipment to twist.

Installing a line swivel between the reel and SMB provides a dedicated rotating connection, allowing the SMB to turn more freely while helping keep the reel and line better aligned.
