Ready to dive deeper and explore beyond the traditional sport diving limits? The TDI Trimix Diver Course opens the door to the world of deep technical diving, allowing you to safely explore depths to 60 metres/200 feet using helium-based breathing gas mixtures. Trimix diving reduces nitrogen narcosis and provides clearer thinking at depth, making it an essential skill for serious technical divers. This course builds upon your decompression diving knowledge and introduces you to multi-gas diving procedures. With proper training in trimix diving, you'll gain access to deeper wrecks, walls, and underwater environments that were previously beyond your reach.

Who this course is for:

  • Technical divers who have completed decompression procedures training and want to extend their depth range safely, divers interested in reducing nitrogen narcosis effects at depth, and those looking to advance their technical diving education to deeper environments.

Course schedule (5 to 6 days in total, 4 diving days):

Session Details
Day 0 Theory & gear configuration (1 to 2 evenings)
Day 1 Check dive & gear familiarization
Day 2 Max depth 45m
Day 3 Max depth 50m
Day 4 Max depth 60m

Course prerequisites:

  • Minimum age 18
  • TDI Decompression Procedures Diver or equivalent certification
  • TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver or equivalent certification
  • Proof of 100 logged dives with at least 20 dives deeper than 30 metres/100 feet
