Q: Do I need a Swift GPS for every cylinder?

No. If you use multiple transmitters (for sidemount, doubles, or stages), you only need one Swift GPS on your primary tank to track your location. Your other cylinders can use standard, non-GPS Swift transmitters.

Q: Does the GPS tracking work underwater?

No. Satellite signals cannot penetrate water. The Swift GPS locks onto your location on the surface just before you drop down and automatically re-acquires the signal the moment you surface.

Q: Which dive computers are compatible with the Swift GPS?

It is compatible with ALL current and pre-existing air-integrated Shearwater computers updated with the latest firmware, including the Perdix 3, Perdix 2, Perdix AI, Teric, Tern TX, Peregrine TX, Petrel 3, and NERD 2.
